1) Transcriptional regulation of phosphate starvation responses in plants; 

2) Phosphate a major determinant of root system architecture. 

Ragu 是 Purdue 大学的杰出教授, 是国际上第一个克隆鉴定植物磷酸盐转运蛋白的科学家,在 PNAS, Plant Cell, , Trends in Plant Science, Plant J, Plant Physiology等发表了大量的研究论文, 仅2007年到现在为止他的实验室在Plant Physiology 发表了4篇有关植物磷素营养的论文.
